This is a really great example of an early dial version, with the nice touch of the gilt minute track on the outer edge of the dial and gilt printed text. The lume has gently aged to a yellowish colour on the hour plots and nicely matches the hands. There is an “exclamation point” at 6 o'clock, very typical for this serial - which scholars believe it is denoting the change from Radium Lume to Tritium Mixture - very cool and rare dial variant!

The case remains strong in all areas with lovely lugs and pointed crown guards .

The super cool fat font bezel insert has aged to a dark anthracite hue that is almost aubergine in some lights – simply wonderful! The watch is fitted with Rolex Riveted Oyster bracelet that remains in great condition with a clasp stamped ‘2 67’ and 58 end-links . The Tudor cal. 390 movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
