This is the rarest of the matte dial GMT-Masters and we are delighted to be offering such a beautiful condition example. The watch is fitted with a Mk3 so-called ‘radial’ dial, which gets its name from the fact that the hour markers are positioned more towards the centre of the dial; you can see a big gap between the plots and the minute markers. These dials were made for a short period and were placed in a very specific serial range as per this watch. The present dial is in flawless condition and the hour plots have taken on a pleasing patina that is a great match with the hands. The case is in awesome condition and is fat in all the right places! The red-back ‘Pepsi’ insert in in crisp condition and has retained its vibrant hues. The solid link Oyster bracelet is a reference 78360, has a clasp stamped ‘1 76’ and is fitted with reference 580 endlinks. This really is a very special watch and a rare opportunity to acquire such a rare GMT-Master. The watch was serviced by Rolex in September 2020 and the buyer will get the remainder of the warranty that comes with this service.
