We make no secret of our love for the mid-size Genta-designed watches from AP and other brands. This Royal Oak reference 14486 is the rare transitional model that bridged the 4100 and the 14790, with AP-supplied information confirming only a total of 411 pieces were made in steel!

This example remains in great condition, with an unpolished case that we have left as-is. The case has the original correct no-logo screw-down crown. The watch houses a stunning Stern petit tapisserie dial in grey that remains in really beautiful condition with white text and the old AP logo font. One key feature of these watches is that the date window is closer to the centre of the dial, due to the different caliber 2130. The bracelet is the correct, shorter clasp version, in great condition and would fit a wrist size up to 18cm, although there are two spare links included. The watch comes with its original papers that show a sale date of 1988 and both the inner and outer boxes. The watch has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
